Iraq: demand tough questions for Blair
Please sign our petition to the Chair of the Inquiry (and the person in charge of questions to Blair):
have called for tough questions. Can you help us get to 15,000?
Sir John Chilcot,Please make sure you ask tough questions of Tony Blair at the Iraq Inquiry.
We want him to tell the truth about his reasons for taking us to war with Iraq. Please make sure this isn't just another whitewash.
Your personal information will be kept private and treated in accordance with our privacy policy.
When Tony Blair appeared before the Iraq Inquiry on 29th January, it should have been a chance for us to hear the truth about why we went to war with Iraq. But we didn't end up with finding out the real answers.
Now, the panel are calling him back in to try and get the answers we deserve. Make sure that they put on the pressure for Blair to answer tough questions when he appears again by signing the petition.
38 Degrees members know what tough questions for Blair look like. We've suggested thousands, including:
- When did you first promise George Bush you'd back an invasion?
- When did you really realise Saddam Hussein probably didn't have WMD?
- Did you cover up advice that the war might be illegal?
- Why did you decide to ignore the anti-war protests by the British people?
