MPs are reaching the end of their summer recess: almost four months in the summer when they aren’t required to be in Parliament at all. Some MPs use the time responsibly to campaign on constituency issues and work with their local voters. Others have long holidays away from the UK, with no plans to respond to their constituents’ requests.
