David Cameron is about to decide whether or not to accept the targets recommended by his own climate change experts. The prime minister promised to stick to these targets and to lead “the greenest government ever,” but now there’s a real danger that he will break that promise.

It’s been revealed in a letter leaked to the Guardian that your MP, Vince Cable, is lobbying Cameron to break his climate promises. When Vince Cable was asking Twickenham to vote for him, he promised to back tough action on climate change.
