Protect the cows
|
The threat of three US style mega-dairies being built in Linconshire is still very much alive. A final decision about whether planning permission is accepted rests with North Kesteven Council. Zero-grazing along with cramped living conditions and over milking allows for little freedom or life for these cows. An estimated capacity of 8,100 cows is being planned which will potentially change the shape of farming as we know it. The only way to stop these battery farms taking root in Britian, is through contacting the local Councillors themselves, asking them to vote against the planning permission which is due this autumn.
