Tell your candidates to oppose student fee hikes
|
Last year, we acted to prevent student fee hikes. Together, we achieved commitments from hundreds of MPs. Now we need your help to make other politicians listen and act. With many MPs stepping down and retiring from Parliament and many MPs expected to enter Parliament for the first time, it is crucial that as many Parliamentary candidates as possible are committed to voting against an increase in fees. With youth unemployment at a record high, increases in fees could close the door on university for many, leaving the door open only for a privileged few. The NUS and 38 Degrees are working together to fight for fairness in higher education. We need to let politicians know that they should not be limiting educational opportunities for the next generation. Email your Parliamentary candidates now and ask them to commit to voting against rises in university fees if they get elected. ![]() Data supplied by DeHavilland.
